Golden Days – Caribbean Projects
The Caribbean is a dream holiday location, and it is also an amazing place to work. We have been working on several projects for luxury brands in the area, in Barbados, St Barts and most recently in the Bahamas.
The Bahamian projects, of around 180 sqm each, were for the same famous jewellers, a new opening and a restyling. The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Baha Mar, with its stunning casino complex, many top-quality restaurants, bars and cafes also has 6 pools areas set in lush gardens by the stunning beach. The huge Atlantis Resort, on Paradise Island just offshore from Nassau, has an iconic water park, a golf course and a huge casino, in a truly heavenly setting.
Various shades of gold dominate the colour schemes for these projects, reflecting the shades of Caribbean sunshine, sand and sunsets. We did the facades, the millwork for the wooden substructures and panels, sliding and swing doors and the display and entrance windows. We made various panels covered in sumptuous fabric or wallpaper. Metallic fabrics, gold-framed mirrors and LED lighting added to the magical atmosphere. The use of gold paint, and plaster with a golden hue, contributed to creating a dazzling setting for the jewellery and watches to be displayed.
There are many reasons to visit the Bahamas, casinos, fantastic scuba diving and dazzling beaches. All this, as well as the luxury shopping boutiques, make this the perfect destination for your next trip.
